A Catholic church turned Protestant in Ulm
When the previously Catholic townspeople of Ulm decided to become Protestants, iconoclasm was the inevitable consequence. The church was stripped entirely of decoration in accordance with the simplicity of worship espoused at public gatherings by Konrad Sam, the influential reformer of Ulm. Today, it remains Germany’s largest Protestant church and proudly holds the record for the highest church tower. the church regularly welcomes up to 2,000 to pray, worship and to take part in cultural events.

Measuring up in Rome in Fulda Cathedral

Church of Our Lady in Dresden
Once known as the Erlweinspeicher warehouse, this former old monument and historically protected site has been comprehensively refurbished in to the Maritim Hotel & Internationales Congress Centre Dresden. Ideally situated on the banks of the river Elbe and near the Old Town district, the hotel is perfect for exploring the city’s rich history.
