“We’re really pleased to be adding even more frequent flights between Belfast and Bristol and to be putting flights on sale today, allowing our customers to book early and take advantage of our lowest fares.

“easyJet is the largest airline at Belfast and we have been committed to providing excellent connectivity in Northern Ireland for over 20 years. We are proud to have carried more than over 55 million passengers in that time.

“We’re committed to expansion at Belfast Airport and the addition of these flights will help us to deliver long term, sustainable growth, providing passengers with a greater range of convenient flights across our network, all with low fares and great service.”

Uel Hoey, Business Development Director, Belfast International Airport said:

“The expansion of easyJet’s Belfast International – Bristol schedule is very good news indeed for Northern Ireland. Bristol Airport provides convenient access to a market of over 7 million people stretching from South Wales right across to Hampshire on the south coast, and encompassing some of England’s most beautiful regions in Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. The upgrade to easyJet’s long-established service between the two cities is timely and welcome for both business and leisure travellers.”

easyJet continues to be the largest carrier serving Northern Ireland, operating over 70% of flights from Belfast International Airport and almost 50% of all commercial passenger traffic across Northern Ireland. The airline has flown over 55 million passengers since it launched operations from Belfast over 20 years ago.
